March 18, 2019 Workshop: "Seed Planting Workshop for the Annual Plant Sale"

The BGC is embarking on a new experiment! All members are invited to join the fun in planting flower and vegetable seeds to grow for the annual plant sale. Please plan to attend the March 18 meeting for a ‘hands on’ workshop on how to start a variety of seeds. All you need is to dress casually and bring garden gloves and your enthusiasm. The BGC will provide the seeds, pots and soil, and information and contacts for plant support. We will need volunteers to take the plantings home and nurture them along. A sunny window location is ideal, but if you have grow lights, that is even better. We will be offering great prizes! Please put March 18 on your calendar, and contact Jane at if you want to be a ‘take home’ volunteer.  "How to start plants from seed" Video:
